2022 Golf Day at Rancho Solano Golf Course

Thank you to all who attended the 2022 NVCC Annual Golf Day last Friday! We had a great day at Rancho Solano Golf Course in Fairfield. 8 groups of 4 teed off in a 4-person scramble, and despite feeling the heat on the Back 9, the first team to tee off took home the chocolates.

Congratulations to team Radloff - Jake Radloff, Brian Ragan, Brian Glynn, and Shaun Wilson who finished with a net score of 57.9. They each took home a bottle of Penfold's St.Henri Shiraz, courtesy of our very generous sponsors at Penfolds! Second place was taken out by the John Fearless Company Foursome of Rob Bolch, Billy Wagner, Steve Donnelly, and Nick Martin with a net score of 58.3. They shared in more fine wine from Penfolds, and also took home 2 x Chalet Passes to next year's Barracuda Championship in Tahoe, courtesy of club member Caen Healy, who works for the Barracuda Championship.

To wrap up the awards, we had a special prize donated by one of our players - Kevin Abe - for Nearest the Pin on the 15th. Congratulations to one of our long-time sponsors, and all-around great guy, Billy Wagner. Billy took home an elite-looking Scotty Cameron Putter.
