Napa Valley CC kicks off the 2018 season on the road and without success

Four matches into the 2018 season and the Napa Valley Cricket Club (NVCC) are still looking for their first victory, having lost all of their matches to date on the road. Early season pressure on their home ground facility at the Napa Valley Expo in downtown Napa means that each season the NVCC has to schedule their early season matches away from home.

Vancouver hosts first international match by Napa Valley CC on recent tour

The Napa Valley Cricket Club went international recently on their annual tour, playing a match on the historic Brockton Oval cricket field in picturesque Stanley Park, Vancouver. Described by legendary Australian batsman Don Bradman in 1948 as “the prettiest ground upon which it has been my pleasure to play, it really is a magnificent setting” the NVCC couldn’t have played at a more stunning venue for their first international cricket match.
